The '06 Dyna Is The Odd One Out

Harley revised the cam chest for 2007 across most of the range, moving to hydraulic tensioners with a new cam support plate and oil pump. The Dyna got it a year early, for 2006. That single year catches people out constantly: an '06 Dyna takes the later parts even though an '06 Road King or Softail takes the earlier ones.

If your Dyna is '05 or older, you want Dyna Twin Cam '99-'05.
