Worth Knowing

The compensator socket and the primary locking bar are the two most riders end up needing. The compensator nut is torqued high enough that you cannot hold the engine against it by hand, and the locking bar is what stops the primary turning while you break it loose. Improvising here is how sprocket teeth and starter components get damaged.

Check the tool listing against your year and gearbox - the five-speed and six-speed Cruise Drive do not take all the same tooling.
