Worth Knowing

Sealed wheel bearings are a press fit into an aluminum hub. Driving them out from the back with a drift usually scores the bore, and driving new ones in by the inner race destroys the bearing you just paid for. The puller pulls on the outer race and the driver pushes on it, which is the whole point of both tools.

Harley changed wheel bearing arrangements around 2000, so check which era your hub is before ordering - the race tool here is specified for '99 and down.
