Fuel delivery and engine tuning parts for the air-cooled Sportster - piggyback and replacement ECM tuners, maps and programming tools, oxygen sensors, fuel injectors and pressure regulators, carburetors, jet kits and rebuild parts, intake manifolds, and throttle and choke cables, brackets and knobs.

Sportster Fitment

Sportster covers '57-'22 - XL883, XL1200, Iron, Forty-Eight, Roadster and Nightster. The air-cooled XL is cable throttle. The liquid-cooled RH Sportster is a different motorcycle and does not share these parts - see RH Sportster.

Years that change what fits:

• 2004 - the Sportster moved to a rubber-mounted frame, which changes a great deal of chassis hardware.
• 2007 - fuel injection replaced the carburetor across the range.

Why You Need One

A stock ECM is calibrated for the stock intake and exhaust. Open either one up and the mixture goes lean, which costs you the power you just paid for and runs the motor hotter than it should. Tuners come in two broad types: a piggyback that modifies the signal to the stock ECM, and a replacement ECM that takes over entirely. Auto-tune systems correct themselves as you ride using a wideband oxygen sensor; others need a map loaded or a dyno session.
