The bike's electrical system - electronic ignitions and coils, wiring harnesses and handlebar wiring, switches and brake light switches, charging components, battery chargers, and the connectors, terminals and hardware that tie them together, for the FXR.

FXR Fitment

FXR covers '82-'94 - FXR, FXRS, FXRT, FXRP and the '99-'00 FXR2, FXR3 and FXR4. The FXR is cable throttle and carbureted, so no throttle-by-wire or Milwaukee-Eight part applies.

Years that change what fits:

• 1994 - the original FXR run ended; the FXR2, FXR3 and FXR4 were built in limited numbers for '99 and '00.

Before You Order

Harley's electrical architecture changed several times - carbureted points-and-coil bikes, early Delphi injection and later Can Bus systems all behave differently, and a part for one will not simply drop into another. If you are chasing a charging fault, test the stator, regulator and battery as a system before replacing parts: a bad battery will destroy a new regulator, and a failing stator will kill a new battery.
