Before You Order

Harley's electrical architecture changed several times. Carbureted points-and-coil bikes, early Delphi injection and later Can Bus systems all behave differently, and a part for one will not simply drop into another. If you are chasing a charging fault, test the stator, regulator and battery as a system before replacing parts: a bad battery will destroy a new regulator, and a failing stator will kill a new battery.
