The S&S Cam Chest Kit without Cams upgrades a Twin Cam oil pump, cam plate, pushrods and tappets while keeping the camshafts already in your motor.

Not every cam chest job needs new cams. If the grind in your motor is doing what you want, the parts worth replacing are the ones around it: the oil pump that feeds everything, the plate that holds it, and the tappets that translate cam profile into valve movement. This kit covers exactly those and leaves your cams alone.

What Comes in the Cam Chest Kit

The oil pump and cam plate are precision machined from billet aluminum, with removable passage plugs for service and independent scavenge sections for better oil control. Quikee pushrods allow adjustment without pulling the rocker boxes apart, which is the single biggest time saver in Twin Cam valvetrain work. S&S precision tappets are hand assembled to close tolerances for low leak down, fast pump up and less valvetrain noise from cold start onward. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs with hard anodized black coating replace weaker stock material and resist distortion.
