T143 Long Block Twin Cam Engines / '99-'17 Big Twins

The S&S T143 long block is a 143 cubic inch Twin Cam crate motor that fits a stock '99-'17 chassis with no cutting or frame modification.

143 cubic inches is the top of the T series, and S&S makes roughly double the horsepower of a stock motor without asking you to modify the frame. That combination is the whole appeal: the output of a purpose built race motor inside a chassis that still looks and mounts like the one that left the factory.

Inside the T143 Long Block Engine

S&S B3 cylinder heads are CNC machined and use two bolt exhaust flanges. Underneath them sit Super Stock T2 crankcases with a reed breather valve and three piece flywheels. A TC3 oil pump and cam plate keep oil moving where it belongs, and 635 easy start gear drive cams pair with 1.725:1 rocker arms for .674" of total lift. Compression comes in at 10.5:1. Oil line routing was revised for '99-'07 applications, which removes the need for an additional kit on those bikes. Designed and manufactured in the USA.

What Else You Need With the T143

Top motor mounts are required on '08-'16 Touring models: T143 top engine mount bracket. An oil line installation kit is required for '07-'16 Twin Cam engines: oil line kit.

A T143 specific or custom exhaust is required. The motor does not include a carburetor, intake or ignition system; those come from the Tuners and Fuel Systems section. The '07-'16 engines are not recommended for Trike models. Professional installation and tuning are strongly advised on a motor at this output level.
