Bodywork at the wheels for the Softail - front and rear fenders, fender extensions, tips and struts, plus license plate frames, side and tuck-away plate mounts, plate lighting and the brackets and hardware that mount them.

Softail Fitment

Softail covers '84-'17 - FXST, FLSTF Fat Boy, FLSTC Heritage, FXSTB Night Train, FLS Slim and FXSB Breakout. These are cable-throttle bikes. 2018 and up is the M8 Softail, a different platform - see M8 Softail Parts.

Years that change what fits:

• 2000 - the Softail took the Twin Cam, a year after Touring and Dyna.
• 2018 - the Milwaukee-Eight Softail replaced both the Softail and the Dyna on a new frame.

Before You Order

Fenders are cut for a specific wheel and tire size as well as a specific model, so a wider tire usually means a wider fender and sometimes a strut change. Raw and unpainted fenders are common here - check whether what you are buying is finished or needs paint. Plate mounts that relocate the plate to the side change what is visible from behind, and whether a given position and lighting arrangement is legal is set by your state.
