EK's strongest 530 sealed chain, rated at 11,100 pounds tensile, built for competition use and OEM replacement.
Tensile rating is the number that decides whether a chain survives a hard launch behind a built motor, and at 11,100 pounds the ZVX3 sits at the top of EK's 530 line. The strength comes from how tightly it is put together: EK minimizes the clearance between the side plates, which stiffens the whole assembly and cuts the flex that lets a chain saw itself apart under load. The sealing rings do the long term work, holding factory grease in the pin and bushing where you cannot re-lubricate.
Features of the 530 ZVX3 Sealed Chain
- Tensile strength of 11,100 pounds, or 5,034 kg
- Sealed ring construction to retain internal lubrication
- Minimized clearance between plates for a stiffer assembly
- Improved stiffness and weight over the previous generation
- Suitable for competition use and as an OEM replacement
- Rivet style master link included
- 530 pitch, offered in 120 and 150 link lengths
- Available in black, gold and chrome
530 ZVX3 Chain Fitment
530 pitch, in 120 or 150 link lengths, for chain drive applications. Harley-Davidson models leave the factory on a belt, so on a Harley this is a chain conversion or a drag and competition part rather than a stock replacement.
⚠️ VERIFY your pitch and required link count before ordering. Chain length is determined by your sprocket combination and swingarm length, and a chain can be shortened but never lengthened.
Common Questions About the 530 ZVX3
How is this different from the DID ZVM-X2?
Different manufacturers and different priorities. EK's ZVX3 is sold on outright tensile strength for competition. DID's ZVM-X2 is sold on wear resistance and chain life on the street.
Which link count do I need?
Count the links on the chain currently on the bike, or work it out from your sprocket sizes and centre distance. Order long and shorten; there is no way back the other direction.
Can I use a clip master link instead of the rivet link?
Not on an application that justifies this chain. The rivet link is supplied because it is the only joint that matches the strength of the rest of it.
