Six heights, solid or vented, so a Road Warrior can be set up for a commute or a long day.

The Road Warrior takes windshields from 7 inches to 17 inches, which is a wide enough spread to cover a rider who wants to look over the top and a rider who wants weather kept off entirely. Vented versions add an opening that bleeds pressure off the back of the shield, which is what settles helmet buffeting on a Harley-Davidson FXD Dyna or FLHR Road King at highway speed. All are cut from Lucite.

Solid or vented?
A vent bleeds air through the shield instead of letting it all stack up behind the top edge. Riders who get head shake or helmet noise behind a solid shield usually settle down with a vented one. Riders who want maximum weather protection and do not have a buffeting problem tend to stay solid.

What is the difference between black smoke and dark black smoke?
Dark black smoke is the heavier of the two. Memphis Shades rates it at 25% visible light transmission.
