Clutch & Brake Perch Clamps / '89-'24 Big Twin & FXR

Billet clutch and brake perch clamps for Harley-Davidson Touring, Softail, Dyna and FXR, machined from 6061 and supplied with ARP hardware.

The perch clamp is a small part in an obvious place. It sits at eye level on the bar next to your hands, and the stock one is a plain cast piece with ordinary hardware that discolours. Thrashin CNC machines these from 6061 and ships them with ARP 12 point bolts, which is unusual on a cosmetic part and the reason they still look right after a few seasons. Because they replace the clamp half only, they work with the controls already on the bike.

Note: These work with the stock Harley-Davidson clutch and brake perches and fit 1 inch handlebars only. The same clamp also covers the '96-'03 XL Sportster, which is listed separately.

Common Questions

Do I keep my stock controls?
Yes. These replace the clamp half only. The perch, the lever and the switch housing stay as they are.

What is Twice Cut?
It is Thrashin's contrast machined finish: black anodized, then machined again so the bare aluminum shows through the cut faces.

Why ARP hardware on a clamp?
Because it is the part you look at. ARP 12 point bolts hold their finish and their heads, where ordinary clamp screws round off and rust at the first pressure wash.
