The Vance & Hines Upsweep 2-into-1 is a 304 stainless system for '04-'13 Sportsters, built around an oversized merge collector.
An upswept system on a Sportster does two things at once. It lifts the muffler clear of the swingarm and the rider's leg, and it changes the whole rear profile of a bike that is mostly frame and motor to look at anyway. Vance & Hines put an oversized merge collector at the junction, which is where a 2-into-1 either builds power or loses it.
How the Upsweep System Is Built
Tubing is high grade 304 stainless steel to ASTM A269 specification, a material grade that resists corrosion and holds its finish through repeated heat cycling. A race inspired heat shield covers the run. The finish is black over stainless. Made in the USA.
