Harley-Davidson moved to variable valve timing on the newest Milwaukee-Eight motors, and the stock cam timing cover shows it. The Recon cover replaces that piece with machined billet aluminum in a raw finish, ready to polish or coat to match whatever else is on the motor of your FLHX Street Glide or FLTRX Road Glide.
