Most heated grip kits ask you to find bar space for a separate controller and then run its wiring somewhere it will not chafe. KOSO puts a thumb switch and a five colour LED into the grip body, so the whole system is the grips and their harness. Five temperature levels give you something between "barely on" and full heat for the shoulder seasons, when the wrong setting is the reason grips get switched off entirely. Low voltage protection cuts the heat before the battery is too flat to restart the bike, which matters most at idle in traffic on a cold morning.

Is there a separate controller to mount?

Will they flatten my battery?
