The Deluxe, Heritage and Slim all share a relaxed riding position that a stock seat lets you slide around in. The Step-Up fixes that with a raised rear step and a high lumbar section that holds you forward, then keeps it comfortable with a GelCore interior set into Ultra-Foam. Saddlemen's molding process skins the foam as it forms, sealing water out, which is why these hold their shape season after season rather than packing down.

Will it fit my Fat Boy or Street Bob?
No. This pan is cut for the Deluxe, Heritage and Slim. The other M8 Softails use different seat pans.
What does GelCore actually do?
It sits inside the foam rather than on top of it, spreading pressure without the seat feeling loose underneath you.
