Stealth Air Cleaner / '99-'06 Twin Cam

S and S Cycle's Stealth air cleaner for the carbureted Twin Cam, with a built-in stinger cone that straightens the air into the carb bore.

Air does not like corners. On a stock air cleaner it turns hard on its way into the carburetor throat and arrives turbulent, which costs flow before the fuel is even involved. The Stealth's backing plate carries a stinger cone that sits in that turn and guides the air smoothly into the bore, cutting the turbulence and raising flow without making the assembly any wider. It is a kit rather than a filter: backing plate, filter and hardware, sized for the CV carb the bike came with or for an S and S fuel system.

Common Questions About the Stealth Air Cleaner

Will it fit a fuel injected Twin Cam?
No. This kit is cut for the CV carburetor. Injected Twin Cams and Milwaukee-Eights take a different Stealth backing plate.

Do I need to rejet?
Plan on it. More air through a carburetor means the jetting it left the factory with is now lean. A jet kit is the normal companion purchase.

Is a cover included?
The kit is the backing plate, filter and hardware. Stealth covers are chosen separately, which is how you set the look.
