A fully welded 2-into-1 with stepped headers and a 10 inch megaphone, louder and more aggressive than the Shorty Road Rage.
Bassani builds the Ripper for riders who want the Dyna heard before it is seen. Where the Shorty Road Rage keeps things civil, the Ripper steps the headpipes from 1-3/4 inch into 1-7/8 inch and dumps into a 10 inch megaphone, which is where the deeper, harder edge comes from. The whole system is welded as one piece rather than clamped together, so there are no slip joints to leak or shift once it is on the bike.
Features of the Ripper 2:1 Exhaust System
- Louder and more aggressive tone than the Shorty Road Rage system
- Stepped headpipes, 1-3/4 inch into 1-7/8 inch
- Fully welded one piece design with no slip joints
- 10 inch megaphone muffler
- Removable louvered baffle measuring 10 inch by 2.25 inch

Ripper 2:1 Exhaust Fitment
Fits '91-'05 Harley-Davidson Dyna models, including the FXD, FXDX, FXDL Low Rider and FXDWG Wide Glide.
Important Notes
- A 2-into-1 system changes how the engine breathes. Plan on a tune to get the fuelling right, and expect to need one if the bike also runs an aftermarket air cleaner.
- The louvered baffle is removable. Running it out will be louder again and will change the way the system scavenges.
- ⚠️ VERIFY street legality and emissions compliance for your own state before purchase, since the rules differ by state and change over time.
Common Questions About the Ripper 2:1 Exhaust
How does it compare to the Shorty Road Rage?
Bassani positions the Ripper as the louder, more aggressive of the two. Same 2-into-1 principle, different tone.
Can I quiet it down?
The baffle is louvered and removable, so it comes out. It does not come with a quieter baffle, so the system as shipped is the quiet end of its range.
Which finish should I pick?
Black, chrome and stainless are the same system. Stainless is the one that shrugs off heat discolouration best over time.
