Legend REVO ARC Piggyback Coil Suspension for FXR models brings current production adjustable damping to a chassis that has been out of the catalog for decades.

FXR frames were built around a rubber mount design that rewards good suspension, and most surviving bikes are running shocks well past their service life. A hand built, fully adjustable, rebuildable shock for that chassis is not something the market offers often. What you get here is compression and rebound as two separate decisions rather than one fixed compromise chosen at the factory.

How the REVO ARC Piggyback Shocks Work

The reservoir mounts to the shock body, keeping the damping oil away from the nitrogen charge so damping stays consistent as heat builds. A 35 mm monotube body runs deflective disc valve stacks with a matched piston and base-valve design. The nitrogen gas bladder allows ultra-fast, stiction-free movement, and low friction seals with PTFE based sliding bearings hold that feel. Preload adjusts by hand, and spherical bearings top and bottom make installation and alignment straightforward on a frame that may not be perfectly true after forty years.

Choosing Standard or Heavy Duty

On FXR models, heavy duty is recommended for 250 lbs and above of combined rider and passenger weight, or if most of your riding is two up or loaded.
