The Arlen Ness Original Fairing Kit is a compact ABS handlebar fairing with a smoked Plexiglas windshield, designed to mount across a range of front ends.

A small fairing changes a bike more than its size suggests. It pulls wind off your chest at highway speed and gives the front end a purposeful line without turning a stripped down bike into a tourer. Arlen Ness built this one as a universal design, which is why it turns up on everything from narrow glides to custom builds.

What Comes in the Ness Fairing Kit

The body is ABS plastic, stiff enough to hold shape at speed and to take paint if you want it matched. A smoked tint Plexiglas windshield ships with the kit along with the windshield mounting screws. Made in the USA. Shield options cover a 39mm smoke shield, a 39mm louvered shield, and a smoke shield sized for Wide Glide and Mid Glide front ends.

Mounting the Ness Fairing

Mid Glide and Wide Glide applications require fabrication of custom mounting brackets, and inverted front ends require fabrication as well. When mounting to '84 or newer Narrow Glide front ends using the OEM headlight mount, an adjustable headlight mount is needed: Ness fairing headlight bracket.
