Mid-Length Super Bike 2-into-1 Exhaust System / '99-'06 Bagger

The Bassani Mid-Length Super Bike 2-into-1 is a hand built stainless system for '99-'06 Touring models, tuned for low and mid range torque.

Mid-length is a deliberate compromise, and on a '99-'06 bagger it is the right one. A short system gives up torque down low where a loaded touring bike lives, and a long one costs ground clearance. Bassani split the difference and tuned the header lengths to put the gain where a heavy bike actually uses it.

How the Mid-Length Super Bike System Performs

Stepped headpipes run 1-3/4" to 1-7/8", improving flow into a 4" diameter, 11" straight muffler body. A removable spiral core perforated baffle sets the note and can be swapped without pulling the system. The gain concentrates in the low to mid RPM range, which shows up as throttle response rather than top end numbers. Hand TIG welded stainless steel throughout.
