Speed Merchant Mid Controls move a '17-'20 bagger's foot controls rearward for ground clearance, replacing floorboards with a mid mounted setup.
Floorboards are the first thing to touch down on a touring bike, and once they do the lean angle conversation is over. Moving the controls to a mid position takes that limit away. Speed Merchant built these for riders who are using the chassis harder than the factory ergonomics assume, and the gain in clearance is immediate.
How the Speed Merchant Mid Controls Install
The design is bolt-on, though it does require some minor modification to fit. A new brake line is required, and the brake light switch has to be relocated. Choose your finish and whether you want pegs included. Made in California.

Before You Order the Mid Controls
These will not work with OEM exhaust, or with some aftermarket exhaust. A custom or specific aftermarket exhaust system is required. Budget for a new brake line and brake light switch relocation as part of the install.
