A big bore motor does not seal like a stock one. The bore is larger, so the head gasket's fire ring sits in a different place, and the cylinder studs are holding down more combustion pressure than the factory ever planned for. ⚠️ VERIFY your actual displacement and bore before ordering, not the year of the bike. A built motor is whatever it was last assembled as, and a gasket kit for the wrong bore will not seal.

Common Questions About the Gasket Kits

Is this a full engine gasket set?
No. It is a top end kit, which is what a cylinder or head job needs. A full rebuild also needs the bottom end gaskets and seals.

Can I use a stock gasket set on a big bore motor?
Not reliably. The fire ring has to match the bore, and stock gaskets are not built for the cylinder pressures a big bore build makes.

I do not know my displacement.
Measure the bore and stroke, or go by the paperwork from whoever built the motor. Do not guess from the model year on a bike that has been apart.
