Ohlins STX36 Pro Blackline Reservoir Shocks are fully rebuildable remote reservoir shocks for '14-'24 Touring models, with adjustable rebound and compression damping.
Remote reservoirs exist to separate the damping oil from the gas charge, which keeps damping consistent when the shock is working hard and heat is building. On a loaded bagger over broken pavement that is exactly the condition where a stock shock gives up. These are fully serviceable and rebuildable, so they are a component you maintain rather than replace.
How the STX36 Shocks Are Built
A 36mm, or 1.417", piston diameter moves more oil than a smaller bore and gives the valving more to work with. Rebound and compression damping are both adjustable, and preload adjusts with the included billet tool. Ride height can be fine tuned across .393" of length adjustment. Hard anodized CNC machined components resist wear, low friction shaft and seal head design cuts stiction, and a high pressure nitrogen gas charge keeps damping consistent as the shock heats.

⚠️ VERIFY your rider weight, load and preferred length before ordering, since spring rate selection drives how these perform.
