Harley-Davidson changed the front rotor offset in 2000, so a later rotor bolted to an earlier wheel sits too far inboard and the caliper no longer lines up with the disc. ⚠️ VERIFY caliper alignment on assembly. The spacer sets the rotor where the later caliper expects it, but wheel bearing spacers and axle spacers on a bike that has been apart before are not always what the factory fitted. Check the rotor sits centred in the caliper before riding.

Do I need one or two?
One per rotor. A dual disc front end needs two.

Will it work with rotors other than Performance Machine?
It is specified for Performance Machine 11.5 inch rotors. Another brand's rotor may use a different offset, so measure before assuming.

Do I need longer rotor bolts?
Adding a spacer moves the rotor out, so check bolt engagement into the wheel. Never run a rotor bolt that has lost thread engagement to make room for a spacer.
