Viton Valve Guide Seals / '99-'04 Twin Cam, '86-'03 XL

Viton valve guide seals for 5/16 inch valve stems, in three guide diameters.

These are the 5/16 inch stem seals for the earlier Harley-Davidson engines. They suit '99-'04 Twin Cam and '86-'03 Sportster XL motors, which use a larger valve stem than the 7 mm seals fitted from the '05 model year onward. Getting the stem size right matters more than the year on the title, so check what your heads actually run before ordering.

Three guide diameters are offered. The 0.420 inch seal is the standard size. The 0.500 inch and 0.530 inch versions cover heads that have been opened up with oversized guides, the 0.530 inch matching Screamin' Eagle cylinder heads.
