Saddlemen DXT Saddlebags are expandable dual compartment throw over bags for '99-'17 Dyna and '18-'22 M8 Softail models, in 1680D nylon with a leather lid.

Most soft bags force a choice between everyday size and trip size. The DXT expands, so the same bag runs tight against the bike on a Saturday ride and opens up to nearly 52 liters when you actually need to pack. That range is the whole point of the design, and it means one set of bags covers both jobs.

How the DXT Saddlebags Are Built

The shells are 1680D nylon treated to resist UV, water and weather, topped with a leather lid that gives the bag its shape and its look. Zippers are water resistant. Mounting runs through a black powder coat bracket system rather than straps alone, so the bags hold position instead of shifting under load, and all hardware ships with them. The dual compartment layout keeps small items reachable without unpacking the main space.

Fitment Notes for the DXT Saddlebags

All models require exhaust that sits lower than the passenger foot pegs to clear the DXT bags. Models with strut mounted turn signals require the turn signals to be relocated.
