Fitment
Ships within 24 hrs. Arrives within 1 - 5 days depending on location
A machined billet rear frame section that takes more than eight pounds off the back of a Harley-Davidson bagger.
Weight at the rear of a bagger is the weight you feel most, because it sits behind the swingarm pivot and works against every direction change you ask for. Trask replaces the stock rear frame with a precision machined T6061 billet aluminum section that is both lighter and stiffer. Riders notice it as a front end that settles sooner and a chassis that stops flexing under load, which is the same reason Trask runs this part on its own Assault Glide builds.

Common Questions About the Billet Frame Rear Tail Section
How much weight does it actually save?
Trask rates it at over 8 pounds against the stock rear frame, all of it behind the swingarm pivot where it affects handling most.
Will my saddlebags bolt straight on?
No. Trask states saddlebags require custom modification. Plan for that before you start the install.
Does it come finished?
No. It ships raw and unassembled so you can finish it to match your build. Trask strongly recommends anodizing rather than powder coating.
