This Bassani Ripper Short with Megaphone Muffler is a one-piece M8 Softail system with full heat shields and an angle cut end cap.

Bassani lists more than one short Ripper megaphone for the M8 Softail, and this configuration carries full heat shields with the angle cut end cap. Like the rest of the Ripper family it is voiced deliberately louder and more aggressive than the Shorty Road Rage, so the decision between the Ripper and the milder Shorty comes down to how much sound you want.

How This Ripper Is Built

Stepped 1-3/4" into 1-7/8" headpipes run in a fully welded one-piece design, which is stiffer and cleaner than a multi-piece build. Full heat shields cover the system, finishing in an angle cut end cap. 18 mm O2 bungs ship with 12 mm adapters. Made in the USA.
