The Bassani Road Rage III 49-State is an equal length 2-into-1 with a high flow catalytic converter, built to remain emissions compliant in 49 states.
Fitting a catalyst into a performance 2-into-1 without choking it is the hard part, and the Road Rage III is Bassani's answer for riders who want the equal length design and a system that stays legal across 49 states. Equal length headpipes mean both cylinders see the same path into the collector, which is where this system does its real work.
How the Road Rage III Performs
Stepped equal length headpipes run 1-3/4" to 1-7/8" into an advanced inner collector, the pairing that produces gain across the rev range rather than in one narrow band. A high flow catalytic converter keeps the system emissions compliant while a megaphone-style muffler and brushed billet end cap finish it. The M8 Touring stainless version mounts off the transmission for a radically short look, with heat shields that end inches from the collector to show off the stainless and the welds. 18 mm O2 ports ship with 12 mm adapters and plugs.
