The Bassani Ripper 2-into-1 with Megaphone Muffler is an M8 Softail system tuned louder and more aggressive than the Shorty Road Rage.
The Ripper exists for riders who found the Shorty Road Rage too tame. Bassani voiced it deliberately louder and more aggressive, so the choice between them is really a choice about how much noise you want. This is the standard length Ripper; a short version is offered for a more compact look.
How the Ripper System Is Built
Stepped 1-3/4" into 1-7/8" headpipes carry the performance in a fully welded one-piece design, which is stiffer and cleaner than a multi-piece system. Full heat shields cover the run, finishing in an angle cut end cap. 18 mm O2 bungs ship with 12 mm adapters. Made in the USA.
