The Bassani Road Rage III 2:1 Megaphone is offered in a short transmission-mounted version and a long touring version, both in stainless.
This listing covers two configurations of the same Road Rage III megaphone, and the difference is where the muffler mounts and how long it is. The short version mounts off the transmission for a radical stripped look. The long touring version mounts off the traditional saddlebag location, which is what a touring rider needs for bag clearance. Both share the equal length header design.
How the Road Rage III Megaphone Is Built
Stepped 1-3/4" to 1-7/8" equal length headpipes carry the performance. Heat shields cover enough of the headpipes for heat protection but end inches from the collector, deliberately, to show off the stainless and the hand TIG welds. The short version uses a tapered megaphone short muffler body; the long touring version uses a tapered megaphone long body or a 4" straight can. Both include 18 mm and 12 mm O2 ports with sensors, adapters and plugs, and a removable baffle and end cap. Made in the USA.

Choosing Your Configuration
⚠️ VERIFY whether you need the short transmission-mounted version or the long touring version for your bike and saddlebag setup before ordering.
⚠️ VERIFY street legality and emissions compliance for your state and model year before purchase. Most aftermarket performance exhaust systems are intended for closed course competition use and are not certified for street use in all jurisdictions. Plan on retuning the bike after installation.
