2:1 Exhaust - Chrome - Softail

The Bassani Road Rage 2:1 for Softail models is offered in long and short lengths, both ending in a reverse cone megaphone muffler.

Long versus short is the decision on this system, and it changes both the look and the character. The long version carries a fuller reverse cone megaphone line. The short version is built in 16-gauge steel throughout and is voiced for a throaty sound with increased low end torque, which suits a rider who wants the compact look and the pull down low.

How the Road Rage Softail System Is Built

Both lengths use stepped headers, with a 1-3/4" headpipe stepping to 1-7/8" into the collector to increase flow. The muffler is a true reverse cone megaphone, 4" with a billet end cap, carrying a removable spiral core louvered baffle on the long version. The short version uses 16-gauge steel headpipe, muffler and heat shield for strength. O2 ports and plugs and heat shields are included on both. Made in the USA.
