2:1 Exhaust - Black - Softail

The Bassani Road Rage 2:1 for Softail models in black is offered in short and long lengths, both with a reverse cone megaphone muffler.

This is the black finish version of the Softail Road Rage, and like the chrome, the real choice is length. The short version is built in 16-gauge steel throughout and voiced for a throaty sound with increased low end torque. The long version runs the full reverse cone megaphone line with a removable spiral core baffle. Same performance header, two different characters.

How the Road Rage Softail System Is Built

Both lengths use stepped headers, with a 1-3/4" headpipe stepping to 1-7/8" into the collector to increase flow. The short version uses 16-gauge steel headpipe, muffler and heat shield for strength, with a billet end cap and removable baffle packed for low end torque. The long version merges into a true 4" reverse cone megaphone with a billet end cap and removable spiral core louvered baffle. O2 ports and plugs and heat shields are included. Made in the USA.
