The '99-'06 Touring bikes carry the early Twin Cam and the frame that preceded the 2009 redesign, which means exhaust routing on them is its own problem. Trask builds this system specifically for that chassis rather than adapting a later one, mandrel bending the stainless so the inside diameter holds through the bends the frame requires.
How the Assault System Is Built
High quality stainless steel is mandrel bent then TIG welded. A double slip fit with gusset strengthens the joint against vibration, and custom heat shields with wire-tied fasteners finish it. O2 ports are included.
