A '91-'05 Dyna spans two engine generations, Evo through early Twin Cam, and most of these bikes have been modified more than once by now. What a hand built stainless system offers a bike at that stage is permanence: mandrel bent tubing that holds its diameter, welds purged from the inside, and construction that does not become the weak link.
How the Assault System Is Built
Stainless steel is mandrel bent so the inside diameter stays consistent through every curve, then TIG welded. A double slip fit and gusset add strength where the system takes vibration from a rubber mount chassis. Custom heat shields with wire-tied fasteners carry the race inspired look Trask is known for.
