The Trask Assault 2:1 for '07-'16 baggers is a hand built 16GA stainless system for the Twin Cam Touring chassis.

The '07-'16 Touring bikes are the Twin Cam baggers, and they are the generation most likely to be well past warranty and getting modified in earnest. A hand built stainless system suits that stage of ownership: mandrel bent, gas purged, TIG welded, and made to outlast the next round of changes rather than to be replaced with them.

How the Assault System Is Built

Mandrel bending maintains inside diameter through the bends instead of crimping. Gas purging during TIG welding protects the inside of each weld from oxidation, which is where stainless corrosion typically starts. A double slip fit with gusset reinforces the joint, and custom heat shields with wire-tied fasteners finish the look.
