Assault 2:1 Exhaust / '17-'23 M8 Bagger

The Trask Assault 2:1 for the Gen 1 Milwaukee-Eight bagger, hand built from 16GA stainless.

This is the system for the Touring range as it ran from 2017 until Harley changed the chassis partway through 2023. Trask calls that the Gen 1 platform. The fitment list is long because it covers most of the line, from a Road King Special to an Electra Glide Police to a CVO Street Glide, and they all take the same pipe.

How the Assault Bagger System Is Built

16GA stainless steel is mandrel bent, then gas purged and TIG welded so the inside of every weld is protected from oxidation. The double slip fit and gusset add strength at the joint, which matters on a touring chassis that puts real miles on the system. Custom heat shields use wire-tied fasteners, and 18 mm O2 ports are included.

Harley changed the Touring chassis partway through 2023. The '23 FLHXSE CVO Street Glide and FLTRXSE CVO Road Glide led that change and are Gen 2 bikes, as is every Street Glide and Road Glide from '24 on. Those take the Assault 2:1 Exhaust for '23.5-'25 M8 FL Touring.
