The S&S Sidewinder 2-into-1 in Lava Chrome is a '17-'23 bagger exhaust with a mirror finish carrying a smoky cast, offered in 49 state and race only versions.
Lava Chrome is the reason to look at this system over the standard Sidewinder. It holds the mirror reflectivity of traditional chromium but casts a smoky darkness through it, which reads as chrome from one angle and as something considerably darker from another. It is also a durable, easy to clean finish, which on an exhaust matters as much as how it looks new.
How the Lava Chrome Sidewinder Performs
Underneath the finish it is a proper S&S system: stainless steel stepped header pipes sized to build power and torque, finished with a machined aluminum end cap. Adapters for wide band or stock O2 sensors ship with it, so tuning is not constrained by what sensor you run. The exhaust note is deep rather than sharp. Made in the USA.
