1-5/8" 8mm Belt Drive With Lock-Up Clutch / '94-'05 Dyna

The Belt Drives Ltd 1-5/8" 8mm Belt Drive with Lock-Up Clutch replaces the primary chain on a '94-'05 Dyna or '00-'06 Softail with an open belt and ball bearing lockup.

The lockup part is what makes this more than a belt conversion. A ball bearing lockup pressure plate applies extra clamping force to the clutch pack as engine speed rises, which stops slippage on a motor making more power than the stock clutch was designed for. The unusual part is that it does it without making the lever heavier, which is normally the price of a lockup clutch.

What Comes in the Belt Drive Kit

The 1-5/8" kit includes the front pulley, belt, clutch hub, clutch basket and a complete aramid clutch set: two half plates, four full plates and five steel drive plates. Every system ships with the Quiet Clutch and the ball bearing lockup design pressure plate. The rear pulley carries a 40mm double-row bearing with an inner stress-proof steel clutch hub supporting the clutch. Installation is a direct bolt-in. Made in the USA.
