Shocks, forks and front end components for Harley-Davidson. Suspension is the upgrade riders notice on the first corner and the first pothole, and it is where a stock bike gives the most away.

Rear Suspension

Legend Suspension leads here with the REVO coil-over range in adjustable and standard forms, plus AIR ride systems and remote reservoir shocks. Ohlins and Progressive Suspension cover the same ground with their own damping philosophies, and piggyback and external reservoir options are here for riders carrying weight or riding hard.

Shock length is a real decision, not a preference. Going shorter drops the bike and costs you travel and ground clearance; going longer changes the geometry. Ride height, preload and spring rate should be matched to your weight and how you load the bike.

Front End

Fork tubes, lower legs, cartridges, springs and covers from Custom Cycle Engineering, Drag Specialties and Burly Brand, plus triple trees from Arlen Ness, Performance Machine and Pro-One.

Fork diameter is the first filter - 35mm, 39mm, 41mm, 43mm and 49mm front ends are not interchangeable, and a great deal of Harley fitment comes down to that number rather than the model name.
