Which Dyna Do You Have?
The Dyna ran from 1991 to 2017 on a rubber-mounted frame with exposed twin rear shocks, and it changed engine twice in that time.
-
Evolution, '91-'98. The original FXD, Super Glide, Low Rider and Wide Glide.
-
Twin Cam, '99-'05. The early cam chest with the spring-loaded chain tensioner.
-
Twin Cam, '06-'17. The revised cam chest with hydraulic tensioners - the Dyna took it a year before the rest of the range, which is the single most-missed boundary on this platform.
The Dyna line ended in 2017 and was replaced by the M8 Softail. If you ride a 2018 or later bike, you want M8 Softail Parts. Note that FLD is a Dyna, while FXDR and FXDRS are M8 Softails despite the FXD letters.

Before You Order
The Dyna is cable throttle throughout its run, so throttle-by-wire parts do not apply. Front end diameter matters on anything that clamps to the forks. Every product page carries the manufacturer's own year and model list - check it against your bike rather than going by the platform name alone.
